Kindergarten teacher Mirella Ramirez is a devout Catholic, and she believes that the Bible means what it says that God created TWO SEXES, male and female. So when Mirella was ordered by her supervisors to refer to a 5 year-old girl in her classroom as a boy (at the parents' insistence), she refused without hesitation. The 2021 nominated Teacher of the Year by Oakland Unified School District has been suspended and her civil rights attorney Brian Festa join us with the details on her case.
