Ann Lew Liu was born in L.A., CA of a Chinese mother under false papers and 8th of 9 children of a laundry man. Raised to be silent by tradition in the 1950s, she knew America as a foreigner, her parents’ homeland as an unmentionable sleeping giant. After living 7 decades & with inspiration from teaching a fully diverse and inclusive community of students with hearing loss in L.A. County, she's found her voice to speak out on systemic racism in America...stories of evolving inclusion.
