It is a fact:
No one - I repeat: "No One" - likes to have any association with a tyrant or one who treats us as something less, let alone, to be treated like a Hireling.
BUT,
Suppose you are so unfortunate and find yourself in such a situation, with such a person; what are you to do? Besides running away from that person; what are we to do? What Can We Do?
